Timbers OHH How Sweet!!!

We strategically built all the pieces to the truss sytem in the shop. These beams weighed a ton!  The funny thing is that I moved most of them myself.

My Dad got in on this project with me ... Silence as we let the master work! Oh master something to say. Yes Master? "Thats how its done boys take notes!"

Master's handywork pays off everything worked out great!!

this view couldn't be more perfect!

Allot of hard work and man hours went into each piece of this job.

As we put the finishing touches on this job we were all amazed on how it turned out!

After some time went by we finally returned to put the last truss on the front of the house. We had to set a scaffold that was about 24 feet off the ground to install this truss.  The whole time we were there it snowed hard on us ... That is untill we were about to leave!

Always A Great Passion For The Big Stuff !

here's a couple cool things I've done for my in-laws ... first is this saddle horse
I made this for my father in law for father's day for one of his cool saddles.

This is another awesome project I got to do for their yard.
putting this bad boy together ...
this thing is S.O.L.I.D. and not going anywhere ... even with the fam all swinging high!

Transforming Something Old Into Something New!

This was an easy way to spruce up an old fire place!

Alder Newel Posts and Railing

This is an Alder railing system with decorative steel balusters we built in the shop from scratch. The Newel posts turned out beautiful and the home owner was very pleased!

Getting Things Done No Matter What the Challenge!

To give you a little background of what we were up against on the project shown in the above pictures I'll give a brief overview; Job location was up Spanish Fork Canyon in Utah about 60 miles from civilization, an adjoining neighbor had run his snow cat up the roof of this small little cabin and had collapsed the roof. So with hardly any equipment at all I took a crew of Mexicano's up to fix this horrible problem. The funny thing is when I tried to explain what it was that I had invisioned us doing here, all the guys looked at me like I was crazy! It entailed us lifting that 800lb beam 15 feet in the air and sliding through the front end of the cabin. Long story short we did it and it all turned out very well.
